Spring into Hope: Water 4 Mercy Brings New Life to Ausia Village This Easter and Passover Season

Orlando, FL — April 18, 2025 — As the sacred seasons of Easter and Passover arrive, Water 4 Mercy calls on its supporters to reflect on the powerful themes of renewal, freedom, and hope—while extending those blessings to families in need.

In Ausia Village, Tanzania, over 3,000 mothers, fathers, and children are witnessing the beginning of a new chapter. With access to clean water already in place, Water 4 Mercy is now launching a sustainable agricultural development project—designed to empower families to grow their own food, nourish their children, and build lasting self-reliance.

“Clean water is not the end—it’s just the beginning,” says Nermine Khouzam Rubin, of Water 4 Mercy. “When you pair water with agricultural education and resources, entire communities rise out of poverty with dignity.”

Thanks to the generosity of Kerry and Diana Helinger, Water 4 Mercy is on track to meet a $40,000 fundraising goal for this initiative. The project will provide essential tools, training, and seeds, giving families the power to transform their own lives.

Why This Matters:

  • It means meals on the table.

  • It means children in school, not in the fields.

  • It means parents gaining dignity and independence.

This isn’t just about growing crops—it’s about saving lives and planting the seeds for a brighter future.

Water 4 Mercy’s Holistic Model

Water 4 Mercy delivers permanent solutions by combining clean water access with agricultural education and sustainable technology. Since its founding, the organization has impacted over 78,000 lives across 26 African communities and has trained 12,800+ farmers and 450 students through its Agricultural Innovation & Technology Center (AITeC).

Recognized for transparency and integrity, Water 4 Mercy has earned Candid’s 2025 Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest award for nonprofit accountability.
